Shed Break-ins - Gurney Court Road

Dear Residents,

Please be aware that we have received multiple reports for shed break-ins which have happened overnight (6th-7th March 2025) on Gurney Court Road in St Albans. These incidents are yet to be reviewed and attended by officers, however given the sudden influx of reports from this road, it is likely that these incidents are linked. For this reason, if you live on this road, or on any neighbouring street, please check your sheds and outbuildings to ensure they are secure and that nothing has been damaged or stolen. Please can I also ask residents to check their Ring Doorbell cameras or external CCTV and review to see if any suspicious activity/persons are captured overnight.

An investigation will be launched and you may receive further messaging about these incidents with a plea for information.

If you have any information on an incident that has happened on your road, please feel free to “Reply” to this message. If you need to report a new crime, please call the Police on 101 or report online as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Fiona
